Why Greenville, SC?

When I first learned of Greenville, SC we found it listed as one of Top 10 cities to live year-after-year. My wife Maegan and I decided to go on a get-away trip to the Carolinas and mainly because she is a Nicholas Sparks fan. We flew into Charlotte (cheaper tickets from San Diego than GSP) and rented a car and landed at The Westin Poinsette. We were originally planning to spend a day in Greenville and make trek to Charleston. That wasn’t in the cards for the extended weekend.
